Welcome

SFPA is a non-profit collaboration of psychologists who provide clinical services to the public (assessment, consultation, and therapy), teach at academic institutions, and conduct research on human behavior, mind-brain relationships, and mental health. Graduate students in psychology also may be part of the association, as may others who meet membership requirements.

Our mission is to promote and enrich the professional growth of our members in accordance with the highest ethical standards of practice, and to advance the science and practice of psychology for the health and welfare of the greater public. SFPA is a chapter of the California Psychological Association, which is a state affiliate of the American Psychological Association.
